The Berkeley Bridge Program is a one-week program that aims to prepare all new-to-Berkeley 9thgraders for day one of school; the goal is to provide students with skills they will need as they enter Berkeley for the first time this fall. The Berkeley Bridge Program will not focus on content-heavy curriculum. Rather students will learn skills revolving around how to learn. Topics covered will include math, introduction to high school writing, study and organizational skills, notetaking skills, and computer skills. Of course, students will also become more familiar with the campus, meet other new students, and learn about Berkeley specific policies.
The Berkeley Bridge Program is not required, but it is encouraged.
